I wrote recently about moving my blog from Wordpress to an Azure Static Site.
Azure Static Web Apps have now moved out of Preview and are now generally available. A free tier has been announced which is great for personal blogs.

New features were announced at the time of GA.
For casual bloggers who are getting started, the biggest among these is probably that Azure Static Sites now has full support for root domains — no www or other subdomain is required anymore.
